Super White Bulb Guide

Importdriver is proud to introduce a range of Japanese market Super White PIAA headlight Bulbs. Straight from Japan and exclusive to Importdriver, these are the brightest and whitest halogen bulbs we've seen. This Super White light approaches the colour and intensity of Xenon High Intensity Discharge (HID) bulbs, as seen on the latest luxury and sports cars, but at a fraction of the cost of a HID conversion. PIAA bulbs cut through the night with bright white light, rather than the duller, yellow-tinted light of conventional halogen bulbs.

All PIAA Platinum Series bulbs have Super White technology, including PIAA's exclusive Xtra technology, both of which lead to a sharper, more vivid white light.

The bulbs come in a variety of types to fit most cars. Use the pictures above to identify yours, but please check your headlight glass or owners manual to confirm your bulb type. Use the table below to identify the PIAA products available in your cars bulb type.

Each bulb type is available in a number of colours. PIAA bulb colours range from yellow to white to blue white. A bulbs colour is denoted by it's 'colour temperature' measured in Kelvin. Bulbs with a 2500K colour temperature are yellow and used as fog lamps, from 4000K to 5000K bulbs are white and from 5000K to 7500K more and more blue/purple tint is added.

Bulbs also vary in their power consumption to output ratio e.g.. 55W -> 100W. The first figure, denotes the power consumed, the second, output figure is an indication of the bulbs brightness.
