There have been Skyline's since 1957, GT-R's since 1969. But not until 1989 did the R32 GT-R begin the process of changing the rules, and not just those of touring car racing. Today a standard R32 GT-R is still very quick, and if you like to drive, this is one of the best cars around. |

you get The much acclaimed RB26DETT, twin turbos providing boost from 3500RPM, red lining at 8000. Limited to 206kW.this engine and drive train were designed to cope with plenty more. In the cabin; ridged, supportive seats, steering wheel adjustable for reach and rake, power windows and mirrors, central locking and climate control air. Practical +2 rear seats. Boost, oil temp, voltage, torque split, coolant temperature and oil pressure gauges. |

Driving and Owning Clutch, steering, firm but precise. Double wishbones front and rear keeping rubber on road. Big brakes consistently pulling up well. Cold air compressed and rammed through the intercooler and into a large plenum chamber, a factory blow off valve allowing the turbos to maintain maximum rpm through gear changes. As with any 4WD, when pushed into a corner it understeers. Through the corner, the torque split centre diff feeds increased power to the front wheels as it’s needed, this ensures traction which allows you early onto the throttle. On the exit front torque fades giving more rear wheel drive handling than you might expect. Too much right peddle allows the tail to step out in controllable oversteer. Four wheel drive traction, rear wheel drive fun. |
